DESCRIPTION:Prevention Is Their Mission: As Nevada’s only statewide nonprofit dedicated to immunizations\, Immunize Nevada saves lives by preventing disease and promoting health. They accomplish this through increasing the vaccination rates of Nevada’s children\, teens\, adults & seniors; ensuring adequate public health resources; training healthcare professionals and expanding health collaborations. What began in 1995 as a group of citizens concerned about Nevada’s immunization rates being the lowest in the country\, is now a statewide 501c3 nonprofit coalition of individual\, business and organization partners working together to impact Nevada’s communities by connecting the public with information and resources to solve an immediate health need: getting vaccinated. \nThey help keep Nevadans healthy and educated by: \n\nServing as a trusted resource\nSupporting healthcare professionals through continuing education opportunities\, conferences\, office tools and incentives\nCollaborating with regional\, state and national partners to develop community-based projects and programs\nProviding outreach and access to vaccines and health resources\nAdvocating for pro-immunization policies\n\nSunBuggy is proud to donate to this worthwhile cause!  We are donating a package worth over $400 with the hope that it will benefit Immunize Nevada.
