SUMMARY:Vet Center - Background of Readjustment Counseling Service
DESCRIPTION:The Readjustment Counseling Service (RCS) / Vet Center Program was established by congress in 1979 out of the recognition that a significant number of Vietnam Era Veterans were still experiencing readjustment problems.  Vet Centers community based and a branch of the Department of Veterans Affairs. \nThe goal of the Vet Center program is to provide a broad range of counseling\, outreach\, and referral services to eligible Veterans in order to help them make a satisfying post-war readjustment to civilian life.  All Vet Center services are provided at no cost to the Veteran or family. \nIn support of our Heroes\, we at SunBuggy are donating 2 gift certificates.  Each one is for a 60 tour in one of our 2 seat dune buggies.

DESCRIPTION:The CASA Foundation in partnership with the Children’s Advocacy Alliance and the Department of Family Services will be hosting a graduation event once again for their foster children who are graduating from High School this year. \nAlthough graduation is exciting\, it can also be terrifying for graduates moving forward and out of the legal system. They attempt to make this transition a little less intimidating for them\, as they honor the graduate’s accomplishments\, and provide a few things to assist in the transition. In previous years\, through the generous support of the community\, they have been able to provide basic personal items such as towels\, toiletries\, gift cards\, bus passes and a back pack or duffel bag to each graduate. \nThis donation will be used as a raffle item during the event. DESCRIPTION:Benefit concert for St. Judes Ranch \nMONDAYS DARK IS VEGAS’ NIGHT TO GIVE BACK.\nTwice a month Mark Shunock gathers an eclectic cast of guests including stars from Hollywood\, the Strip\, musical acts\, athletes\, and celebrity chefs for 90 minutes of chat\, entertainment – and a lot of laughs. Since 2013\, Mondays Dark has partnered with over 30 local charities. It’s mission is to raise 10k in 90 minutes. The $20 variety show has become one of the hottest tickets in town and the list of charities waiting to partner with Mondays Dark continues to grow. Mondays Dark has raised over $500\,000 and every penny has stayed here in Las Vegas with each of it’s featured charities.

DESCRIPTION:Leigh High School Cafeteria\n5210 Leigh Ave.\nSan Jose\, CA 95124\n\nThe 28th annual Leigh High Crab Feed will be held February 3rd at Leigh High School; hosted by the Leigh Performing Arts Parents Association (PAPA). \nThis event is a cherished tradition for Leigh High School and the local community. The evening highlights great food\, incredible live music from Leigh High musicians\, and roving thespians making “Crabby” come to life. An amazing Silent Auction will be running with thousands of dollars in items up for bid including sports tickets\, getaways\, and vacation home stays. \nThe “All You Can Eat” Crab Feed dinner features Fresh Dungeness Crab (or Chicken Picatta)\, Anti-Pasto platter\, Cheese Plate\, Rice Pilaf\, Mixed Green Salad\, Garlic Bread\, Dessert\, Soft Drinks\, Coffee and Tea for $50 per person/ticket. \nProceeds benefit the performing arts programs at Leigh High School including four instrumental ensembles\, choral ensembles\, technical theatre program\, Drama showcases\, Fall Play\, Spring Musical\, and the award winning Marching Band. Thank you to all the wonderful donors who have given so generously to the Crab Feed! \nCome join in the fun and support the Arts at the same time!!

SUMMARY:Renewing Your Vows - The Nevada Recreation and Park Society (NRPS)
DESCRIPTION:The Nevada Recreation and Park Society (NRPS)\, the state professional association for parks and leisure professionals\, is a nonprofit professional organization offering membership to all individuals concerned with helping promote parks and recreation in the state of Nevada. Organized in 1955\, their membership has grown to include professionals\, interested citizens and students in the park and recreation field. This year’s statewide conference is entitled “Renewing Your Vows\,” and will take place April 13-15\, 2016 at the The D Hotel in Las Vegas\, Nevada. This event will include door prizes and raffles that Sunbuggy Fun Rentals has proudly donated a Sunbuggy ride experience to with the money raised from the raffle going towards helping to defray the cost of training and continue the efforts of promoting the many benefits of parks and leisure services in the community.
